MY HISTORY OF “CHOOSE TO REACH FOR JESUS”

In 2001 I was told by doctors that I had black spot on one of my lungs and needed surgery. Doctors said that nothing was wrong. A day later I aspirated into my lungs and got Pneumonia. Doctors told my family that I would not live through the night on two occasions. While I was out, had a experience with an Angel. The Angel came to me and said that I was going to go up this long staircase and go into 3 rooms. She started to ask me questions and when I answered her there would be a small Angel that would pop-up and hover over her. At that moment I would see the little angels.
She asked a lot of questions and I gained more angels. There was two times that she asked me a question and I lost 2 little angels. I wish I could remember what I had done that displeased her. She then told me that we had to start up the stairs. I could see that there were two large doors at the top of the stairs. After I had collected a lot of little angels she told me we had to start. The first door we opened was the color of yellow with streaks of red. It hurt really bad. I truly believe that it represented the blood and pain that Jesus felt when he carried
the cross. The next room was solid red and it hurt so bad and was unbearable to be in. I believe that this room represented the pain that Jesus endured on the cross. The Angel then told me we had to go thru the last door. I could see the two large doors at the top and could not wait to go through them. When I went into the next door it was solid blue with black streaks running thru it. At that moment I would see the little angels fighting the color black. I believe that the little angels were fighting the black which represented death. Oh no, I woke up and did not get to go through the two large doors at the top.
I finally went home after 26 days in ICU. After coming home, I kept asking God what it was that he wanted me to do. I kept asking for 5 months and then one day it came to me that God was telling me to be still and he would let me know when he needed me. Peace after that.
Isaiah 60:22 says: “When the time is right, I the Lord will make it happen”
Sleep in peach tonight. God is in control!!
In 2005 my bother, Gerald I Lawhorn found out that he had ALS. Gerald was not saved at that time.. The following Christmas, I gave him a solid silver Jesus coin and I could tell that he wanted to know more about Jesus. Thanks to Tony Haefs, family and friends, he was saved and baptized. Gerald was very successful in business but after being saved he turned his attention on Jesus entirely. He began to design the Jesus Coin and spent many months to achieve his goal. A coin that could be used to witness to others. He ordered the coins and had brochures made to help people witness to others. He then created a non-profit corporation and started a new ministry . After his death in 2008, Gerald told the family that he wanted me to take over the ministry. This ministry has blessed me in so many ways. I finally knew why God brought me back to this world. Thank you heavenly Father! Gerald in heaven, just remember I love you!
